En effet, Akon, sous son label ”Interscope Records” a fait entrer Lady Gaga dans la famille en 2007. Akon a bien eu raison de dénicher ce talent, qui, de nos jours, multiplie son succès à travers sa voix puissante, son excentricité et ses titres phares tels que “Paparazzi” ou “Bad Romance”.  

Ainsi, ce contrat s’avére très lucratif pour Akon, qui avoue pourrait peut-être tirer un trait sur sa propre carrière. Pour on ne sait quelle raison, Akon et Wyclef se sont retrouvés en sous-vêtements.  Je devine que ce fut très amusant, mais je me demande combien de parents ont dit à leurs enfants d’éteindre la télévision. Akon performed at the 2009 Billboard Latin Music Awards while Sheek Louch, Styles P. and Bemmi shot the D-Block “Get that Paper” music video in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. Singer/producer Loick Essien was at the Sony/ATV Music Publishing ASCAP pop music awards after-party.

Liya Kebede attended the Smart Cookie awards and will be on the cover of the May issue of ‘Vogue’ magazine. Estelle sang at the official John Legend concert after party where she had her birthday bash. Akon celebrated the inauguration with BET in style.  Angel was out and about celebrating the inauguration too.

Liyana, a group that won the 2006 Music Crossroads IRF performed in the U.S.   This group is made up of students from the King George VI school, a school for the physically disabled, and the lead singer, Prudence Mabhena, has been described as a powerful singer with a voice like the late Miriam Makeba’s.

Wale rocked the house with Ronson, and Marcus Samuelsson supported a good cause.  Ledisi brought some Christmas cheer to Bryant Park. Tabi Bonney has launched his latest line from Bonney Runway.

Miss World took place in Johannesburg, South Africa.  The winner was Miss Russia.
