Liya Kebede in Cookie Magazine
It was such a pleasant surprise to see supermodel Liya Kebede on the cover of Cookie Magazine with her daughter Raee.
Rory Evans talks to Liya in the new issue of Cookie. Liya talks about her new children’s clothing line Lemlem which means “to bloom” in Amharic. Liya points out that the clothing is “chic and ethnic and made with traditional techniques like embroidery and hand weaving.”
The clothing is beautiful and it is good to see authentic traditional clothing unlike the imitators.
Check out the beautiful pictures of Liya and Raee (in Lemlem) following in Mommy’s footsteps and getting her modeling on.
So, so CUTE!

Oh my goodness. This little girl is going to be working it on the catwalk in 13 or 14 years. I know boys are a bit less of a hassle drama-wise but when I see these cuties, it seems worthwhile.
Love the line too.
